Club-head tracking sensor mat
Fiber Built Sensor Mat and Frame fully assembled with built-in electronics
-GSA Sensor Mats feature a massive solid acrylic glass 1/2 inch thick plate to protect the internal electronics.
The construction is so sturdy you can drive a 10 ton truck over it!
When you consider that the force of a club on the mat can be as high as 4000 pounds per square inch,
you'll appreciate the need for a very strongly constructed product that can withstand these forces if it is to last.
The GSA Pro Mat features FiberBuilt true feel grass mat panels.

( degrees club-head open or closed at moment of impact in relation to club head path )
3. Club head path i.e. Square, in-to-out, out-to-in.
4. Horizontal ball position at impact on club face
Internal circuitry is built to the highest industrial standards using the latest robot assembly methods.

Advanced mathmatical algorithms in the software calculate (not measure) ball spin and spin axis tilt

Support experience has shown that the biggest issue with camera systems - when customers install systems themselves - is reflection from the wall and floor covering in the field of view of the cameras.

Line Scan Camera Trigger
An alternative to the TX optical sensor camera trigger is to use a special third camera known as a line scan camera.
The GSA line scan camera operates at over 3000 scans per second and generates a trigger signal to the ball tracking cameras as soon as a golf ball enters it's field of view.

IR ball tracking for

The VX-2 Vertical Launch Angle sensor uses a triangulation IR Beam method of measuring ball vertical launch angle.
The sensor's high speed ADC (Analog Digital Converter) is capable of capturing 800 samples of a ball travelling at 170 mph.
The device is embedded in a fairway extension panel of a GSA sensor mat and features a USB connector to the PC.
IR reflex technology.
The VX-2 Vertical Launch angle sensor array uses a high speed 16 channel ADC (Analog Digital Converter) to additionally capture ball speed and ball path as well as the launch angle.
You can use this unit alone to play both the ProX and the GSA Golf software in a golf simulator.

Both ball spin in RPM as well as spin axis tilt in degrees is captured using IR lasers and sensors.
System uses a super high speed ADC (Analog Digital Converter) capable of capturing 800 samples of a ball travelling at 170 mph from multiple angles.
Player is not required to use marked or special balls.
