Swing Analysis - see why the ball flew the way it did. Up to 775 !!! high speed optical sensors and cameras are used to capture all elements of the club face at impact with the ball and the ball's true launch angles and speed like no other system on the market.
This data is shown graphically in pop-up windows after every shot and include :
Club head speed at impact to the ball.
Club face angle at impact ( number of degrees open or closed ) in relation to path angle.
Club head angle of approach ( hitting the ball on the down or up-stroke ) .
Club head Path in degrees ( i.e. from out to in, in - out etc) .
Club head height above ground at impact.
Tee Height
Ball position on club-face at impact in both x and y directions (vertical and horizontal distance from sweet spot on club-face is captured ).
Effective club-face loft at impact. i.e. a 7 iron normally has 40 ° of loft, but when the club is held at anything other than 90° to the ball, the effective angle at impact will be changed. Also, the club-face angle and hitting the ball on the upward or downward stroke will effect the loft angle and thus the flight of the ball.
Ball spin rates and directions are calculated from the captured club data at impact. Side ( or horizontal ) spin as well as top ( or vertical ) spin rates are calculated and summed to give a final spin rate and spin direction. The side spin causes the ball to curve left or right depending on the direction of spin and the positive top spin will give extra lift and distance. Negative top spin (caused by topping the ball) will, on the other hand, cause the ball to dive.
Ball launch path angle.
Ball launch vertical angle.
Ball launch velocity

In analysis mode, pop-up windows - like the ones above - show the position of the ball on the clubface and all the relevant club and ball launch angles at the moment of impact.
Ball Velocity/Carry Graph for all clubs

The GGS system allows you to see and adjust the ball carry for every club type and for every ball velocity.

The GGS club swing analysis functions record all swings and ball trajectory flight data. Of particular interest to club fitters, the data can be viewed in table form allowing you to compare performance characteristics and averages of swings and clubs. Data can be stored and retrieved in any one of 24 tables. Mouse right-clcking on the shot entry opens the trajectory analysis window and replays the shot.
Each table can be retrieved with a table combo box and assigned a user definable name. Entries are made into the current table after every shot whereby individual entries can be deleted.
New: Swing Tempo and Smash Factors are now also being recorded in the swing analysis tables.
GGS-ProX
Swing Statistics window. The Swing Shot ball flight Statistics window shows your average shot trajectories for a particular club-type and period. All shots a player makes on the simulator are recorded and stored in the database. This new feature allows you to track your shot progress over periods and focus in on swing improvements..

Sensor striking mat, Ball Tracking system , VLM and Club-Head verticals
to measure:
club-head path and speed
club-face angle at ball impact
club-head height at impact
ball height above ground at impact
club-head attack angle
ball path and speed
ball vertical launch angle

"Trace mode" allows you to see the complete trajectory

Up to 36 multiple trajectory traces can be shown for comparison

With Multiple Traces on during game play all trajectories are visible from tee off to putting in the hole.

Nearest Pin and Longest Drive contests

In addition to normal game play, Nearest Pin and Longest Drive contests can run in parallel.

Large Landscape Rendering

You can see and even travel to all the adjacent holes from the current hole. The new ProX high speed large landscape renderer not only renders the terrain of the adjacent holes but all objects (trees etc) of all the course holes as well.

When putting, the camera will smoothly zoom-in to the ball while rolling from the original camera angle at launch position.
Spinning ball animations
The Ball features a logo that animates the ball spin. Especially noticeable when fly-with-ball set on and putting. You can now see the ball rolling and not just (seemingly) gliding along the ground.
